This week, Nathan continues his chats on winter gardening! There are some essential garden plants that every Southern garden must include over winter. Namely, the camellia. Nathan discusses the two main groups of camellias found in our garden, their characteristics, bloom patterns, and more! He also lets you in on a little known camellia that you will find more often in the kitchen pantry than in the garden! Winter Daphne and Chinese Paperbush are two shrubs that bloom over winter that need to be planted more often as well. Nathan describes how they look and what they require from you to not just look good over winter, but all year long!
